When sales open, departments choose how many staff; each person gets a login.
2. Learn
Attend the seminars and take on-demand courses from My Courses.
3. Get credit
Download certificates; COEA reports your hours using the licenses in your account.
Questions
Do I need to be a COEA member? No. Membership is separate ($50 a year) and gives you site access, monthly meetings and a vote.
Which boards approve the courses? Each course lists its approvals: BCAIB, CILB, ECLB, ICC, and coming soon ASFPM (CFM CECs), BOAID (architects) and FBPE (engineers).
Who reports my hours? COEA reports to DBPR. You self-report ICC, ASFPM and most FBPE hours. See Getting Credit for Your Courses.
Can I buy a single course? Not yet. The Board is deciding whether to offer individual courses.
